So following from the last episode. Yoonhye and Jaeshin have been called to the student council meeting to testify their apparent "gay" relationship. Yoonhye can't explain what had happened with Jaeshin that night, but pleads for the student president to believe her innocence. Sunjoon is called forward as a witness but then to everyone's surprise, he admits that "The person who is homosexual...is me"

Everyone is shocked at his confession. He goes on to argue that if just by being at the scene that night made Yoonhye and Jaeshin homosexuals, then he must also be a homosexual. He confirms his presence that night by naming the witnesses whom he had bumped into that night. He critisizes why he was not also rumoured along with Yoonhye and Jaeshin? It must have meant that the rumours were false. He asks the students whether they saw any abnormal behaviour between YH and JS, but everyone denies actually seeing them together, only that they have heard the rumour from somebody else.
He then goes on to quoting the teachings of confucious. "Kindness" was the love shown between two friends who were as close as family. Students should follow the teachings, and to follow the truth not the rumours, for that is being "wise". For accusing your fellow classmate and sitting back to laugh, not doing anything, was not "responsible" and is not the "etiquette" which the teachings taught. And not "believing" in your classmates words was also wrong. No one has the right to accuse the love between two friends or twisting the truth into a scandal. "If that is the path of a scholar, then I'd rather choose the path of homosexuality" (GO SUNJOON!)
But then the student president raises his suspicion that the red messenger was also injured that night, and that it could have been either Yoonhye or Jaeshin. He commands for the two of them to take their tops off to see if they have and injury. Jaeshin freaks at this, and desperately tries to avoid the situation by volunteering to take his top off. Meanwhile, Sunjoon suddenly remembers that night when Yoonhye had suspiciously brushed away something with a broom and the strange look on Jaeshin's face, it suddenly occurs to him who is the Red Messenger!! Sunjoon argues that SKK was not a political place, no officials can come inside to arrest criminals, and that the student meeting should not be used for political reasons. If they were to take off their tops and both of them were innocent, then the president should take resposibility.
Everyone then votes, all decide that Yoonhye and Jaeshin are not guility and the student president has to accept this while he is seething with anger. After the meeting is over, Sunjoon hurriedly leaves, scolding himself for being mistaking the situation that night. Yoonhye looks for him desperately as Jaeshin silently watches her from afar, guessing her feelings for Sunjoon.
Yongha stops Sunjoon outside. "What a surprise! A proper person like LeeSunjoon didn't care for being mistakened as a homosexual..."
SJ: "I just -"
Yongha: "Ah! Is this also for your principles?...Is it was for sticking to your principles, you shouldn't have lied. You said you were with Yoonhye and Jaeshin all along that night, wasn't that a lie? It's not like your style to lie..."
SJ: "So senior you knew what happened that night."
Yongha: "The prime minister's only son, didn't care about the danger of losing his future, didn't care about being tied into the scandal of being a homosexual...why?"
Sunjoon walks away silently, Yongha goes on to ask him about his real intentions for being engaged to Hyo-eun tomorrow. Although Sunjoon remains silent, Yongha sees that his purpose was for running away and avoiding, so he finishes by asking Sunjoon if he was happy and for whom he was doing all this for?
Sunjoon is no where to be found, but Yoonhye is informed by one of the caretakers that Sunjoon has decided to not study at Sungkyunkwan anymore. She bursts into Yongha's room to tells him and Jaeshin of the news. Yongha is surprised: "Didn't he leave Sungkyunkwan to take care of the engagement party tomorrow?" this comes as a shock to Yoonhye as she did not know that Sunjoon was to be engaged. She tries to hide her disappointment by saying that he shouldn't have left without a word, especially when he was the one who talked about manners and etiquette. But Jaeshin registers her sadness in her voice and lets her cry alone in the room while he sits outside; his own heart also in tatters...knowing that it wasn't him she was crying for T_T
Sunjoon is summoned to see his father who tells him that the preparations for his transfer to another college named "Bamboo forest College", was ready. Sunjoon only half listens as his father tells him to concentrate on the engagement and his academics. He gets his attention and goes on to talk to him about his responsibilities after marriage, saying that his inspirations and confidence should build from starting a family and it will also spur him to go further in his career. Sunjoon replies by asking: "Then father, are you happy?"
Sunjoon's father laughs (with a kind of evil tone if i may say) in response, the says: "It is not worth me replying. Those words are only words from a complaining rich man, or the sighing healthy man, why do they come from you? I've never wasted my time on such nonsense questions."....god! I mean your son is just caring about you! why are you being so mean??
Back at Sungkyunkwan, Yoonhye misses Sunjoon's presence as she walks by the tree they sat under while reading and looks longingly across to his desk. Her classmates gather and comment on how they may never be able to see Sunjoon again, they turn and ask Yoonhye whether he told her about leaving Sungkyunkwan. At this, she can only remain silent and leaves the room crying. She bumps into Jaeshin who worryingly asks her where she was going, but she only remains silents, bows and leaves.
Meanwhile Hyo-eun happily prepares for the engagement party, determined to be a good wife to sunjoon. Yoonhye arrives outside her house, hiding behind a tree to wait for Sunjoon. When he arrives, it's as if he has a sixth sense for sensing Yoonhye and looks towards the tree, Yoonhye quickly tries to hide herself but Sunjoon is too quick for her as he is already standing behind her. She tries to make her presence sound coincidental but Sunjoon sees right through her, so she starts to explain:
YH: "I may never see you again...I wanted to see you one last time and waited for you here...whether as a friend or roomate or one of the many students in SKK...no matter what...I wanted to see LeeSunJoon on last time. Now that I've seen you it's ok.
SJ: "You shouldn't have come today"
YH: "Did I do something wrong again?"
SJ: "Go. We should never see each other again..."
Poor Yoonhye...she can only weep quietly as she watches him walk away. She leaves the house wiping away the tears on her face. Sunjoon stops ouside Hyo-eun's room, contemplating. As he enters, Hyo-eun happily runs up to him and hugs him, but his face is emotionless. Hyo-eun tells him that she will try hard to be a good life companion for him. "You said that there isn't anything impossible in this world and you promised to slowly give me your heart. I will believe in your promise". Sunjoon replies: "I'm afraid I cannot keep that promise"
Sunjoon hurriedly leaves the house and runs after Yoonhye. He finds her walking aimlessly on the crowded street. He turns her around to say: "I like you Kin Yoonshik"
(*SQUEAL* YES!! HE FINALLY CONFESSED!!) "Before, I only walked along paths already there; only did things according to principles; I used to think the law was everything. But I've come to like you. This is also why I cannot just see you as a good friend, classmate or roomate
. The real reason is I no longer have the confidence to stay at KimYoonShik's side, and pretend as though everything is alright ...and lie to myself. Don't worry KinYoonShik, I will not let you get hurt. I will not let you be ostracized because of my heart. This is the last time I will appear in front of you. This is all that I can do for you"
Meanwhile Hyo-eun pretends to be ill and tells her father to postpone the engagement party, but her brother suspects there is more to the situation. Hyo-eun recalls Sunjoon telling her to call the engagement off first to avoid her being involved in any scandals. But Hyo-eun sees this as meaning that Sunjoon will not call off the engagement if she did not mention it. However, Sunjoon has already told his father to cancel the engagement *smart move!*
Sunjoon's father asks his servant about Kim YoonShik and comments that it seemed all like ill fate.
Yoon hye quietly sits in the library contemplating the things Sunjoon said her her. Jaeshin comes to sit with her, but sensing something wrong, he moves to leave her alone. But Yoonhye calls out to him and he sits back down quickly, eager to listen to her (So cute! :<3).>
She begins saying: "Senior, you've read all these books here right?" *to which he puffs up to impress of course!* "So what can I do now that will be right? I...lied to a particular person" (at the mere mention of this, Jaeshin immediately deflate T_T) "Because of my lie, the person has had to carry a big burden; he even gave up an opportunity that he had hoped for because of this...so I want to tell him that he can let go of the burden now. I want to tell him. But it seems too late now. I'm afraid he won't forgive me. What should I do." And of course...Jaeshin tells her to tell that person, even though he knows exactly who it is! And even though it breaks his heart to say it *Mine broke as he said those words*. He's also probably thinking of his own lie to her about not knowing her real gender. The headmaster decide to let the students go on a trip to a mountain near the school where Sunjoon has decided to transfer to. As for Sunjoon:
he is so emotionless and locked within himself that it begins to worry his servant. At the palace, the king and Prime minister play chess. The king voices his concern over Sunjoon's transfer and expresses his wish for bringing the "new world" to the capital as his own father had wished. When alone with his loyal subjects, the king states that he will wait for Sunjoon to return before he issues the secret commandment, but his subjects advices against him, saying that they should find the geumdeungjisa as soon as possible and not to forget Sunjoon was the prime minister's son. But the king is adamant, saying that it is precisely for that reason he needs Sunjoon.
In the morning, the student set off for their field trip in the mountains, celebrating with singing and dancing. And the headmaster desperately pleads Yongha to bring Sunjoon back to SKK.
Yongha teases Jaeshin that to see Yoonhye smile, this is the first time ever that he's been on a field trip with everyone else. Which of course damages Jeashin's manyly pride and quickly covers his mouth. So he tells them that he has a surpirse in store and drag the begrudging twosome with him.
As the students play in the water, they ask Yoonhye to join them. Which of course is impossible! They begin to suspect that she is keeping something strange from them...
But really, the only think that she can't swim and even offers to teach her! Yoonhye hurriedly rejects their kind offer. Now comes another highlight in this episode for me ^_^ Jaeshin roasts a potato on the fire for Yoonhye and offers it to her.
but he suddenly takes it back and blows and fans it before giving it back to her, he awkwardly says that "It's hot" which brings a smile on Yoonhye's face saying: "Senior will be a very good husband" *SQUEAL* that's EXACTLY what he wants to be to her!!! He gives a shy smile and says: "How could I be" (heart almosts bursts at point) as Yoonhye eats the potato, he notices a piece sticking to the edge of her mouth and moves his hand to wipe it for her, but she quickly moves away, leaving an awkward pause (if that was me I'd be more than happy for him to caress my face!!!). Jaeshin resolves the pause by asking loudly where Yongha had gone to.
Actually Yongha has somehow found himself a few ladies and wine inside a room, and has called over Sunjoon's servant to tell him to find a way to bring Sunjoon near to their camp. The servant lies to Sunjoon and says that his mother has come and is waiting for him outside. At the same time, Yoonhye is also taking a walk by the river to avoid his classmates' constant badgering to join them in the water. The evil twins decide to take advantage of the opportunity whilst she is alone, having mistakened her to be the red messenger, and slowly creep towards Yoonhye.
Jaeshin appears in time to stop them, his face...I cannot find words to describe, but just simmering! He takes the two aside as Yoonhye quietly sits, not noticing the commotion behind her.
Nearby, Sunjoon has already seen through his servants lie and was heading back. But something stops him and he runs back, shouting KimYoonShik. At the same time, Yoonhye accidentally drops her she into the river and moves to retrieve it. At the lower end of the river, Sunjoon sees Yoonhye's shoe and becomes more hysterical as he continues shouting her name.
At long last he sees Yoonhye. He runs towards her and embrances her tightly. (YES!) Yoonhye is surprised by his actions and is wordless.
SJ: "No matter what Kim Yoonshik, I'll always look for you like this. So now it's your turn...run away Kim YoonShik"
(SunJoon walks away slowly)
YH: "Wait! Listen to my answer before you go!"
Yoonhye runs towards Sunjoon, but alas, the now shoe-less Yoonhye slips on the rocks and falls into the water.
Sunjoon is quick to respond and nose dives into the water to rescue our damsel in destress (I think it's a little over the top when he dives in....the water isn't THAT deep!) Sunjoon surfaces with an unconcious Yoonhye craddled in his arms. As he places her down, he shakes her to try and wake her up, but there is no response. So he somehow makes the logic to start unclothing her? (not mouth-to-mouth or CPR? Just straight into unclothing her?? hahaha SJ you perv)...
And at long last. After 15 episodes into SKK, Sunjoon sees on Yoonhye's chest something that only a woman can have (I feel there needs to be a dramatic drum roll here)
